MILLER: Support this city supporter

| November 1, 2013 9:00 PM

Kiki Miller has been a resident for more than 35 years. A Coeur d’Alene High School graduate, she remained here and actively participated in our community to make it the best for everyone who lived, worked and played in beautiful North Idaho. I’ve known Kiki for more than 25 years and have always admired her love and ambitions for supporting our wonderful city.

I went to work with Kiki five years ago and marvel at her creativity and drive in all of her business endeavors. I watched her success in her now 25-year-old publication company continue to grow. I’ve watched her manage multi-state distribution contracts. I watched, during the failing economy, how she managed the closure of a multi-million dollar road construction company, working tirelessly to ensure that everyone was paid, overcame legal and technical concerns so that everything was completed properly, and no one suffered. Kiki is fiscally responsible, and has the knowledge and experience to understand and manage large scale tasks which are critical for successful city leadership. Most who have lived here for a while are knowledgeable about her civic accomplishments and her diverse and acclaimed involvement. We need this kind of positive leadership in Coeur d’Alene.

I, along with my son, a local firefighter/paramedic in our community, and my daughter, a 17-year employee of a large auto dealership in our community, fully endorse Kiki Miller for City Council to help lead our city.

The three of us also strongly support and endorse Steve Widmyer for mayor, and Amy Evans and Woody McEvers for City Council positions. Please join us in voting for all four of these candidates. We’re confident that they will lead our wonderful community toward a future that ensures us all happiness and prosperity.
