Adding dinner and hours
Even though the more important business news for this week probably is about a new financial institution coming to town - it's not the news most readers will be interested in. So that's where we'll start.
Two established breakfast-lunch restaurants are adding dinner menus and hours.
Hoping to take advantage of its location with outdoor waterfront dining and three boat mooring posts, LePeep in Riverstone is adding a summer menu and hours.
Located on the Spokane River at 1884 W. Bellerive Lane, the new menu includes appetizers, burgers, salads, beer and wine. With 24 employees, hours are 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
The 45-year-old company has 44 restaurants in 14 states with Coeur d'Alene's the only one in the Northwest. Phone 664-0404. Check www.lepeep.com.
Side Street expands in Post Falls
"Fitting the neighborhood better" by adding dinner, drinks and reasonable prices in a comfortable atmosphere is the objective of Side Street Place, according to owner Betty Romps.

Dinner hours are 4:30-8:30 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Phone 777-8444.

- Writing style note: The states not abbreviated when following a city/town are those of states of five letters or less (Idaho is one) and not in the contiguous 48 (Alaska and Hawaii). An Idaho town doesn't need the state unless it can be confused with a town with the same name in another state such as Troy, Idaho, and Troy, Mont. Note that you don't use post office state abbreviations.

- They begin the news with "good evening" and then tell you why it isn't. Ever notice that most of the evening news ads are medications for older people? That's who watches the news. Young people don't. Sigh.
