REGAN: He's got this mom's vote

| May 14, 2013 10:09 AM

I have had the privilege and honor over the last year to really get to know and work side by side with Brent Regan as a Kootenai Republican Precinct Committeeman and as an everyday citizen in regards to county property rights, educating the state healthcare exchange, and educational issues.

I can tell you as a mom of four young children, Brent Regan is exactly what we need right now on the school board. With the success he has had in life as an engineer, inventor, business owner, husband, and father, he is a remarkable role model and example for our children and our community.  Brent is also one of the smartest and hardest working people I know, refusing to rest until he can systematically break down a problem and proceed to solve it. He examines every angle of the numbers and issues that have been sometimes hidden, ignored, or rubber stamped in past school boards, and does so understanding the importance of accountability to the children and taxpayers of this district.

As a parent, I often worry about the direction of education and future of our children in this district and beyond. I truly believe if we’re serious about solving the many challenges facing this country, the first step is repairing our broken education system.  This starts locally with proven and successful problem solvers, like my friend Brent.  Brent Regan doesn’t need this position but understands that getting education right is critical to the future of our children, community, and country. The school board, our children, and our community need people of Brent’s caliber to bring about meaningful education reform. On May 21, vote for the future success of our schools and children here in District 271. Vote Brent Regan for School Trustee.
