Rathdrum sets cleanup programs

RATHDRUM - The community cleanup for Pine Grove Cemetery in Rathdrum is Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Rathdrum Lions Club will serve lunch to participants. Helpers are encouraged to bring rakes.

Rathdrum will offer a free Dumpster program starting Monday and running through May 19 to help city residents with their spring cleaning projects.

Dumpsters will be at the public works shop at 7310 W. Boekel Road and available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Materials not accepted are dirt, grass, tires and hazardous materials.

Participants should bring a water bill to show they live in Rathdrum.

Seniors or those with disabilities can sign up to have items picked up at their curb. They should call 687-0261, ext. 124, before Monday to get on the list.
