ABORTION: First an ultrasound

Abortion. A complicated topic for us all. I am writing to you about the choice of eight states now to require an ultrasound, before performing the abortion. It is an educated choice for this reason: If a woman is going to make the choice for abortion for her child she ought to know the ins and outs of the process and mentally and emotionally embrace her choice.

We lobby for the rights of women, but how far will we go to make sure our women in America are truly educated? It is my opinion that this law should be adopted throughout America to truly give the freedom of reproductive rights to all women. We sell our women short when we say it’s too traumatizing to view for them, just simply watching a life in her belly before it dies, we as women must understand our choices completely before we face our Higher Power whomever that might be.
