Last chance to view Really BIG Raffle house

Less than 900 tickets remain for the chance to win this year's $250,000 grand prize home through the 20th annual North Idaho College Really BIG Raffle.

Supporters are encouraged to view the home at the last public open house that will be held Sunday from noon until 4 p.m. at 6695 Cornwall Drive in the Coeur d'Alene Place neighborhood. Tickets will be available for purchase at the open house.

Only 5,000 tickets are sold at $100 each. With less than 900 tickets remaining, organizers of the Really BIG Raffle expect the event to sell out sooner than in years past.

A $100 ticket buys the opportunity to own the three-bedroom, three-bath 2,162-square-foot home, which was built by students in the NIC Carpentry program. In celebration of the fundraiser's 20th anniversary, this year's home has been loaded with upgrades including granite counters, hickory cabinets, a heat pump, a fully landscaped and fenced lot and even a backyard hot tub.

Additional prizes include a $20,000 car, a $10,000 boat, a $3,500 travel package and a $2,000 shopping spree. Winners can apply the cash value of these prizes to the purchase of their choice.

The drawing will be held July 10 at the Cheamkwet Park on NIC's main campus. Winners do not need to be present to win any of the major prizes.

Remaining tickets are available at Super 1 Foods, Trading Company Stores, Steins Family Foods, the NIC Workforce Training Center in Post Falls and the NIC Foundation Office, located on NIC's main Coeur d'Alene campus. The 20th annual Really BIG Raffle is sponsored in part by Greenstone Homes and Neighborhoods. Proceeds from the Really BIG Raffle are used to fund scholarships, update classroom technology, support programs and encourage outstanding instruction at North Idaho College.
