Birds In Flight "Going Home"

Birds in Flight symbolize the end of a Christian life. One bird is shown leaving the flock and “going home” to his final reward. The three remaining birds continue their journey through life with peace of mind, knowing their lost loved one is now in God’s hands.

Milton Anderson was and will always be an extraordinary gentleman. A highly decorated lieutenant colonel of the USAF he was. One of the best fighter pilots to ever serve his country. A patriotic man, a true “Hero” in this life time. He respected and respectful at all times. He was not just a “hero” to our country but to anyone who had the honor of being a part of his life.

He prominently served his country until his retirement. He then fulfilled his dream of being a rancher. Milt, a humanitarian, a mentor, a pilot, and a scholar, also possessed a real genuine heart and a sense of humor that kept all of those close to him captivated. He is the most amazing man one could ever know. Milt is a one of a kind. Anyone who had the true honor to be touched by Milt’s life is and will always be truly blessed. Rest in Peace Dad. You will never be forgotten. You are our Hero.

Nilton Anderson is survived by his wife, Carey Anderson; sister Connie Wren; son Jack Anderson (Maria); grandchildren: Randy Ellwood, Jeremy Anderson and Cassie Anderson; and stepchildren: Wayne Miller (Cindy), Patty Beech and Penny Pupo.

There is a celebration of Milt’s life being held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the American Legion in Athol.

Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d’Alene Chapel, was entrusted with the care of final arrangements. Please visit Milt’s online memorial and sign his guest book at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com.
