REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS Kootenai County Parks and Waterways Harrison Boat Launch Renovation The Kootenai County Board of County Commissioners requests statements of qualifications and experience for the purpose of selecting an individual or firm with appropriate experience and expertise to provide construction services for a boat launch renovation project. This is a "Category B" procurement of public works construction pursuant to Idaho Code \u00DF 67-2805(3)(b), as such, competitive bidding is open only to those licensed public works contractors who meet preliminary supplemental qualifications established by the County. All respondents must have a current State of Idaho Public Works Contractor License commensurate with the project scope and size. Information packets can be picked up at the office of the Board of County Commissioners, located at 451 N. Government Way, P.O. Box 9000, Coeur d' Alene, ID 83816-9000. Any contractor contracting to perform work for the County shall be required to purchase and provide proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance and a minimum of $1,000,000 professional liability insurance coverage naming the County as an additional insured. Further, the successful bidder shall enter into a contract with the County that will identify the terms of the parties' agreement, date of commencement and substantial completion date, contract sum, payments, insurance and other terms and conditions which might apply to this project.
