Norman McLeod King III, 86

Born December 1, 1926, in New York City, passed on July 12, 2013. He is survived by Gale, the love of his life for 42 years. He was also survived by five of his six children: David W. King, Robert J. King, Peter J. King, Thomas King and Katherine Adan. His son Norman (Chip) McLeod King IV passed away in 1989. He had 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He served with honor and great pride in the U.S. Army Reserves for 26 years. He also worked for Brinks Armored Car Service for over 20 years. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and quickly made friends wherever he went. He loved a good party, dancing and traveling. He was an avid angler making regular pilgrimages to Montana and Alaska.

Viewing will be Wednesday, July 17, 2013, from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. followed by Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at Yates Funeral Home Hayden Chapel located at 373 E. Hayden Avenue in Hayden.
