Old Coeur d'Alene City Hall burglarized over weekend

COEUR d'ALENE - Burglars broke into offices in the old City Hall building over the weekend and made off with thousands of dollars in computer equipment.

According to police reports, someone entered the building at 424 Sherman Ave. that's home to a variety of businesses and professional offices, then pried open office doors.

A laptop, iPad, router and desktop computer were among items valued at $3,000 taken from one office.

In another, an older laptop valued at $100 was missing.

Police said at least one door to the building was not locked when they investigated Sunday.
