John Gage made all four of his 3-point attempts and scored a career-high 19 points to help the Cardinal (12-8, 3-4 Pac-12) rout the Utes (9-11, 1-7) 87-56 on Sunday in Salt Lake City.

Colorado 81, California 71: At Boulder, Colo., Askia Booker scored a career-high 20 points as the Buffaloes (14-6, 4-4 Pac-12) took advantage of the Bears' (11-8, 3-4) poor first half.

No. 2 Michigan 74, Illinois 60: At Champaign, Ill., Trey Burke scored 19 points and the Wolverines (19-1, 6-1 Big Ten) never trailed after the opening minutes and beat the Illini (15-6, 2-5).

No. 7 Indiana 75, No. 13 Michigan St. 70: At Bloomington, Ind., Victor Oladipo took control for the Hoosiers (18-2, 6-1 Big Ten) in the opening minutes and never let go, and Indiana outlasted the Spartans (17-4, 6-2).

The junior guard scored 21 points, grabbed seven rebounds and finished with six steals.

No. 17 Creighton 81, S. Illinois 51: At Carbondale, Ill., Doug McDermott had 21 points and 10 rebounds and the Bluejays (1-83, 7-2 MVC) beat Southern Illinois (8-12, 1-8).

No. 25 Miami 71, Florida St. 47: At Coral Gables, Fla., Trey McKinney Jones scored 15 points to lead the Hurricanes (15-3, 6-0), over the Seminoles (11-8, 3-3).
