No. 16 Ducks remain unbeaten in Eugene

E.J. Singler scored 18 points and No. 16 Oregon stayed undefeated at home with a 81-76 win against Washington on Saturday at Eugene, Ore.

Arsalan Kazemi added 11 points and 11 rebounds, and Carlos Emory also scored 11 for the Ducks (18-2, 7-0 Pac-12).

Andrew Andrews scored 15, C.J. Wilcox added 14 points and Abdul Gaddy and Scott Suggs had 13 each for the Huskies (12-8, 4-3), whose season-high 21 turnovers contributed to their third straight loss after opening conference play 4-0.

Oregon led 37-33 at halftime but took control with a 7-0 run early in the second half.

No. 6 Arizona 74, Southern California 50: At Tucson, Ariz., Nick Johnson scored 14 points and Arizona used a stifling defense to rout Southern California.

The Wildcats (17-2, 5-2 Pac-12) were dominant from the opening tip, jumping out to leads of 18-4 and 29-7. They were up 39-20 at halftime.

The Trojans (8-13, 3-5), who shot 28 percent, trailed by as many as 34 in the second half.

Arizona State 78, UCLA 60: At Tempe, Ariz., Arizona State rode the inside play of Jordan Bachynski and Carrick Felix to defeat UCLA.

Bachynski had 22 points and 15 rebounds, while Felix added 23 points and 11 rebounds as the Sun Devils (16-4, 5-2 Pac-12) dominated the Bruins inside the lane. Arizona State outscored UCLA 46-26 in the paint and outrebounded the Bruins 52-33.

Jordan Adams scored 19 points and Shabazz Muhammad had 18 for UCLA (16-5, 6-2), which was coming off an 11-point upset of No. 6 Arizona on Thursday. The Bruins, who were the best-shooting team in the conference going into the game, shot just 35 percent from the field against the Devils.

Louisiana Tech 51, Utah State 48: At Logan, Utah, Brandon Gibson came off the bench to score 20 points and Louisiana Tech (18-3, 9-0 Western Athletic Conference) beat Utah State (14-5, 5-4).

Texas State 86, Seattle U 83: At Seattle, Reid Koenen came off the bench to score 24 points and the Bobcats (7-14, 3-6 WAC) beat the Redhawks (6-13, 1-8).

Texas-Arlington 66, San Jose State 47: At San Jose, Calif., Greg Gainey had 17 points and seven rebounds to lead the Mavericks (10-8, 5-4 WAC) past the Spartans (9-11, 3-6).

Saint Mary's 84, Pepperdine 72: At Moraga, Calif., Beau Levesque scored 19 points and Stephen Holt had 17 as Saint Mary's defeated Pepperdine (10-10, 2-5).

Brad Waldow added 13 points, Mitchell Young had 12 and Matthew Dellavedova had 10 points and 10 assists for the Gaels (17-4, 6-1 West Coast Conference), who won their fifth straight game.

BYU 85, Portland 67: At Portland, Ore., Matt Carlino scored 24 points and Brandon Davies added 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead BYU (15-6, 5-2 WCC) past the Pilots (8-13, 1-5).

Tyler Haws had 19 points for the Cougars, as the team's leading scorer rebounded from a one-point game on 0-of-9 shooting in Thursday's loss to No. 10 Gonzaga.

Santa Clara 64, San Diego 50: At San Diego, Marc Trasolini had 23 points and eight rebounds as Santa Clara (16-6, 4-3 WCC) beat San Diego (11-11, 4-3) for its fourth straight win.

Montana 76, Weber State 74: At Missoula, Mont., Will Cherry had 28 points, six rebounds, four steals, and three assists to lead the Grizzlies (14-4, 10-0 Big Sky Conference) past Weber State (13-5, 8-2).

Montana State 61, Idaho State 59, OT: At Bozeman, Mont., Flavien Davis scored a game-high 24 points and Antonio Biglow made a pair of free throws with 17 seconds remaining in overtime for his only points of the game as the Bobcats (9-9, 6-4 Big Sky Conference) beat Idaho State (4-15, 3-7).

No. 1 Duke 84, Maryland 64: At Durham, N.C., freshman Rasheed Sulaimon scored a season-high 25 points and Duke (17-2, 4-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) beat Maryland (15-5, 3-4).

No. 3 Kansas 67, Oklahoma 54: At Lawrence, Kan., Ben McLemore scored 18 points, Jeff Withey added 13 points and nine rebounds and Kansas (18-1, 6-0) shut down Oklahoma (13-5, 4-2 Big 12).

Villanova 75, No. 3 Syracuse 71, OT: At Philadelphia, Ryan Arcidiacono hit the tying 3-pointer with 2.2 seconds left in regulation, and James Bell hit consecutive 3s in overtime to send Villanova (13-7, 4-3 Big East) past Syracuse (18-2, 6-1).

Arcidiacono's 3-point attempt to tie with about 25 seconds left in regulation was off the mark. Syracuse's Michael Carter-Williams missed the front end of a 1-and-1 and JayVaughn Pinkston of the Wildcats grabbed the rebound.

Bell missed a 3 and Mouphtaou Yarou grabbed the offensive rebound. Syracuse decided not to foul, giving Yarou time to kick it out to Arcidiacono. He let go a leaner from just beyond the 3-point line to tie the game at 61, force overtime.

Georgetown 53, No. 5 Louisville 51: At Washington, Otto Porter had 17 points and grabbed the game's decisive rebound with 1.4 seconds to play as Georgetown (14-4, 4-3 Big East) handed Louisville (16-4, 4-3) its third straight loss.

Trailing by one, Louisville had several chances to take the lead in the final 2 minutes. After getting the ball back on a disputed held ball ruling, the Cardinals kept the ball for a final shot. Peyton Siva, who didn't score in the game, missed the jumper, Porter grabbed the rebound and was fouled.

No. 8 Florida 82, Mississippi State 47: At Starkville, Miss., Kenny Boynton and Erik Murphy each scored 18 points, Patric Young and Scottie Wilbekin added 13 and Florida (16-2, 6-0 Southeastern Conference) beat Mississippi State (7-11, 2-4).

No. 9 Butler 83, Temple 71: At Indianapolis, Rotnei Clarke scored 24 points in his return from a severely sprained neck and Khyle Marshall added 19, leading Butler (17-3, 4-1 Atlantic 10) past the Owls (13-6, 2-3).

Iowa State 73, No. 11 Kansas State 67: At Ames, Iowa, Will Clyburn had 24 points and 10 rebounds and Iowa State (14-5, 4-2 Big 12) beat the Wildcats (15-4, 4-2).

Wisconsin 45, No. 12 Minnesota 44: At Madison, Wis., Traevon Jackson just beat the shot clock and hit a 15-foot jumper from the right side with 4 seconds left as Wisconsin (14-6, 5-2 Big Ten) handed Minnesota (15-5, 3-4) its fourth straight loss.

No. 14 Ohio State 65, Penn State 51: At State College, Pa., Sam Thompson scored 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting, and the Buckeyes (15-4, 5-2 Big Ten) beat Penn State (8-12, 0-8).

San Diego State 55, No. 15 New Mexico 34: At San Diego, JJ O'Brien had 12 points and 10 rebounds, and San Diego State (16-4, 4-2) routed the Lobos (17-3, 4-1 Mountain West Conference).

No. 18 North Carolina State 91, North Carolina 83: At Raleigh, N.C., Lorenzo Brown had 20 points and 11 assists to help North Carolina State (16-4, 5-2 ACC) beat North Carolina (13-6, 3-3), ending a 13-game losing streak in the rivalry.

La Salle 69, No. 19 Virginia Commonwealth 61: At Richmond, Va., Ramon Galloway scored 31 points and La Salle (14-5, 4-2) beat a top 25 team for the second straight game for the first time in 60 years by upsetting the Rams (16-5, 4-2 Atlantic 10).

No. 20 Wichita State 73, Bradley 39: At Wichita, Kan., Nick Wiggins scored 12 points and fueled a 16-0 run in the second half with three 3-pointers as the Shockers (19-2, 8-1 Missouri Valley Conference) routed Bradley (12-9, 4-5).

No. 22 Missouri 81, Vanderbilt 59: At Columbia, Mo., Jabari Brown scored 21 points and Missouri (15-4, 4-2) cruised past Vanderbilt (8-10, 2-4 SEC).
