AAU BASKETBALL
The Cougars lost to Blue 22 38-21 in fourth-grade boys play. Rylan Croutch scored nine points for the Cougars, Jackson Gatten four, Cooper Larson three, Hudson Gilbert and Mason Greene two each, and Logan Cessna one.
The Cougars then beat the Rim Rattlers 23-11. Rylan Croutch scored nine points for the Cougars, Mason Greene eight, Logan Cessna four and Kyler Haynes two.
* Coldwell Banker/Access Endodontics defeated the Kootenai Storm 35-5 in fifth-grade girls play. Jaizee Cessna scored 12 points for the winners, Jordan Roth eight, Geneva Bengtson four, Liberty Croutch three, and Taylin Rowley, Shelby Sharp and Kyla Currie two points each.
Coldwell then defeated the Black Knights 49-4. Jaizee Cessna scored 13 points in the win, Jordan Roth had 11, Liberty Croutch nine, Taylin Rowley eight, Geneva Bengtson six and Shelby Sharp two.
* The North Idaho Storm fourth-grade boys team beat Newport 27-17 last Saturday in Post Falls Competitive League action.
Kaden Cripps led the Storm with 10 points, 7 steals and 4 rebounds. Tyler Arnone added 5 points and 2 rebounds, Tommy Hauser had 4 points, 6 steals and 2 rebounds, Dylan Brown 4 points, 4 steals and 2 rebounds, Marcus Butler 2 points and 2 rebounds; Cooper Green 3 rebounds and 2 steals, Nick Bailey 6 rebounds.
Next up for the Storm is the Snake River Shootout this weekend in Lewiston.
