Warriors top Kellogg JV

HARRISON FLATS - Morgan Willms and Jake Pfeiffer each finished with 16 points to lead the Kootenai Warriors past the Kellogg junior varsity 49-34 on Monday at Kootenai High.

Pfeiffer grabbed seven rebounds and sophomore Colson Schultz added six for the Warriors (5-4), who host Coeur d'Alene Charter tonight at 7:30.

Domenic Bushy led the Wildcats with 14 points.

"We played kind of sloppy in the second quarter, but we shored things up in second half and played much better," Kootenai coach Doug Napierala said.

"Kellogg is a much-improved team from the first time we played them - they did not quit."
