ISU student diagnosed with tuberculosis

POCATELLO (AP) - Officials at Idaho State University say a student who attended classes during the fall semester has been diagnosed with tuberculosis, a bacterial infection of the lungs.

The university and officials with the Southeastern Idaho Public Health department have notified students, faculty and staff who may have been exposed and recommended treatment.

Symptoms include over three weeks of cough, fever, night sweats and unexpected weight loss.
