COEUR d'ALENE - DISH, a pay-TV provider, reached an agreement regarding the continued retransmission of Northwest Broadcasting Inc.'s Fox programming in four cities.
The agreement came in time to deliver the football playoffs to DISH customers.
DISH has resumed broadcast of Northwest's KAYU in Coeur d'Alene and Spokane.; KCYU in Yakima, Wash.; KMVU in Medford, Ore.; and WICZ in Binghamton, N.Y.
"DISH customers once again have access to this important local TV programming in Washington, Oregon and New York," said Andrew LeCuyer, vice president of programming at DISH. "We thank our customers for their patience during these negotiations and the agreement allows DISH to continue offering the best programming at the best prices for DISH customers."
"Northwest Broadcasting is pleased to have reached a deal with DISH," said Brian Brady, president Northwest Broadcasting. "We appreciate the support of our viewers during these negotiations and look forward to moving forward with a renewed partnership with DISH."
Terms of the agreement between DISH and Northwest were not disclosed.
