COEUR d'ALENE - An estimated 90 volunteers are training to provide free tax help, beginning Feb. 1.
The AARP Foundation's Tax-Aide program helped around 5,000 people last year, and expects to assist about that many this year, too.
The organization offers free tax help to low- and moderate-income residents, especially those 60 and older.
Tax sites will be open Feb. 1 to April 15:
