Guitarists to perform at JACC

POST FALLS - Two guitarists will perform separate concerts at the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center.
Classical guitarist Leon Atkinson will play on Friday, while Matt Andersen will perform a blues concert on Wednesday.
Both concerts start at 7:30 p.m. Cost for each is $20 and $15 for students.
"Both of these guitarists are amazing," said Liisa Spink, JACC executive director.
Atkinson, from Sandpoint, was scheduled to perform at the nonprofit JACC in November, but a snowstorm postponed that concert. He is host of National Public Radio's "The Guitar Hour."
The guitarist, who had a kidney transplant last year, has performed at the JACC for the past three years.
Andersen in 2010 became the first Canadian to win the prestigious International Blues Challenge in Memphis. The accomplishment led to festival dates in France, Italy and the United States where he toured with the Old Crow Medicine Show string band.
