Fairgrounds to host sportsman's expo, RV and boat show

COEUR d'ALENE - Kootenai County Fairgrounds officials are excited to announce the inaugural North Idaho Sportsman's Expo, RV and Boat Show, slated for April 27-28.

The Expo will highlight North Idaho's recreational activities including camping, RVs, boating, ATVs, hunting, fishing and more, bringing together exhibitors and consumers to gain knowledge of industry trends, product awareness and annual activities in the region.

Along with several hands-on demonstration areas, an outdoor adventure theater, and a chili and Dutch oven cook-off, the Expo will also feature the Timberworks Lumberjack Show, which offers a unique blend of the history of logging, friendly competition and comedic relief. Spectators will get to see on the water log rolling, crosscut sawing, axe throwing, chain saw carving, hot sawing, chopping and speed pole climbing.
