Burke's, Klein's join forces
HAYDEN - Burke's Disaster Restoration and Klein's DKI recently announced that Gerry and Kim Burke of Burke's Northwest Disaster Restoration have purchased Klein's DKI from Rudy and Nancy Klein.
Both local companies are disaster restoration contractors in the area and are coming together to become a premier restoration company serving the Inland Northwest. The new name will be Burke's Klein's DKI.
"This is an incredible opportunity be able to join forces with another well established company to be able to serve our community," said Gerry Burke, president of Burke's Klein's DKI, who has more than 27 years of experience within the industry.
He is excited about the transition and future for the expanding company.
For Rudy and Nancy Klein, the change allows them to be more involved in the local community and its charitable endeavors, providing business consulting as well as spending more time with their growing family.
Burke's Klein's DKI will continue to offer services in all aspects of disaster restoration, including cleanup and repair of damage to homes and buildings and restoration of furniture and personal contents caused by wind, fire, water and smoke, emergency water cleanup, mold remediation, carpet cleaning and electronics decontamination.
"In combining the companies, Gerry has assembled a knowledgeable and diversified staff with multiple years of experience in the restoration industry," according to a press release.
Both companies have experienced growth over the past five years. Burke's Klein's DKI is looking forward to relocating from its Hayden location to a larger restoration facility at Stateline.
The new location encompasses two existing buildings that are being remodeled. The 11,000-square-foot facility will open in the spring of 2013.
Burke's Klein's DKI will continue to operate out of the Hayden location until the renovation is completed.
