Browner to start for Seattle vs. 'Skins

RENTON, Wash. (AP) - Cornerback Brandon Browner is expected to start for the Seattle Seahawks in the playoff opener Sunday at Washington despite just returning this week from his four-game suspension.

Coach Pete Carroll was pleased with a nearly empty injury report Friday. The only players listed were running back Marshawn Lynch (back) and cornerback Jeremy Lane (knee). Both were probable and expected to play.

Carroll said Browner looked fine in practice but that the team will watch his fatigue during the game. Veteran Marcus Trufant will likely get the nod as Seattle's fifth defensive back in passing situations, while Leroy Hill and Malcolm Smith will likely split time at outside linebacker.

On the offensive line, rookie J.R. Sweezy is expected to start at right guard, but John Moffitt could see some time there as well. Moffitt has been inactive the past two weeks.
