Helen Marie Page, 88

Helen Marie Page, 88, resident of Post Falls, passed away at the Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012. Helen was born Nov. 28, 1924, to Walter and Leone (Hughes) Luckenbacher of Detroit, Michigan.

She attended Centerline High School in Detroit, Mich., where she met her childhood sweetheart. She and Freeman “Fred” E. Page were married on July 1, 1944. They moved to Southern California in 1953 and moved to North Idaho in 1972.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Fred and siblings Vivian and Wally. She is survived by her children, Juanita Lee Poller and Barbara Lou Deckon; grandchildren, Carl Freeman Duncan, Danny Ray Duncan and Hunter Lee Poller; and sister Carol Christy.

Helen loved gardening, sewing, crocheting, boating, watching Fred fish and going to the beach. She was also an avid bowler and could still throw a strike until a couple of years ago when she gave it up due to health reasons.
