Time Warner updates customer service policy
Time Warner Cable recently began providing customers with one-hour appointment windows for service calls, allowing customers in the Kootenai County to enjoy better service.
The new window means customers can determine their best time for service, and Time Warner Cable will be at their home within one hour of that appointment time.
"Our subscribers deserve a quality customer experience," said Correen Stauffer, Pacific Northwest Area General Manager, Time Warner Cable. "We heard customer feedback requesting shorter wait times, so we have invested in technology and redesigned some procedures to be able to deliver a better experience for our customers with these one-hour appointments."
The one-hour appointment windows have been made possible through an investment in new technology at Time Warner Cable, including laptops for field technicians, and new software at the dispatch centers that provides real-time updates.
One-hour appointments can be booked for upgrades and service calls.

Fogarty receives Hospice certification
Dr. Shana Fogarty, co-medical director of Hospice of North Idaho, recently achieved certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine by the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Fogarty joins nearly 3,000 fellow physicians to have achieved such certification, including Hospice of North Idaho's Dr. Robert Ancker.
The certification requires a rigorous full-day exam as well as significant experience in end of life care. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine is reserved for those who are committed to providing optimum care to patients with terminal diagnoses.
At Hospice of North Idaho, Fogarty supervises the medical care of patients, making home visits when needed, and is a member of the hospice team dedicated to meeting patients' and families' needs. Fogarty also performs rounds at Hospice House, Idaho's only inpatient hospice facility.
