HONESTY: On display in Cd'A

| January 2, 2013 8:00 PM

Twice in a week we were blessed by the honesty and kindness of strangers.

My husband dropped his Galaxy Tab (small iPad-like device) on Fourth and Sherman. He was able to track it via Verizon’s GPS service to an address on Schreiber Avenue. Someone found it downtown and drove it all the way up to the police station.

Second, my daughter and I were shopping at Big Lots and she set her iPod Touch down to look at a comforter. She didn’t realize she had left it until we got in the car. We ran back inside in a panic and it was not where she had set it down. But, someone had turned it in to lost and found. (Incidentally, she had paid for the majority of the device with her own money — I think she learned her lesson.)

We are very grateful to the people who returned these items. We hear a lot of bad news these days, so I thought it was worth the time to say THANK YOU and GOD BLESS you.
