Ams rally to beat Chiefs

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Eric Comrie stopped 30 of 33 shots to lead the Tri-City Americans over the Spokane Chiefs 6-3 on Monday night in Western Hockey League play before 6,098 at the Toyota Center.

Down 3-2 after two periods, Tri-City scored four times in the final frame, led by Parker Bowles' second goal of the night. Connor Rankin has a goal and two assists for the Americans (21-14-1-2, 45 points).

Brendan Kichton, Black Gal and Mitch Holmberg all scored for Spokane (24-12-1-0, 49 points, second in U.S. Division) which travels to Everett to take on the Silvertips on Friday.
