COLLEGE MEN: Cobbs' jumper gives Cal victory at No. 23 Oregon

Justin Cobbs' jumper with 0.7 seconds to play gave California a 48-46 victory over No. 23 Oregon on Thursday night at Eugene, Ore.

Cobbs' shot, which came after the Golden Bears (17-9, 9-5 Pac-12) ran nearly all of the final 26 seconds off the clock, hit nothing but net.

Cobbs finished with 14 points and Allen Crabbe had 12 for Cal, which has won four straight.

Arsalan Kazemi had 11 points and a season-high 18 rebounds for the Ducks (21-6, 10-4), who lost their 11th straight game to the Bears. Carlos Emory scored 13 points.

Colorado 60, Utah 50: At Boulder, Colo., Spencer Dinwiddie scored 13 points and had a key block in the late going, helping Colorado pull away for a victory over Utah (11-15, 3-11).

Sabatino Chen added 12 points and Andre Roberson had 10 as Colorado (18-8, 8-6 Pac-12) rebounded from its overtime loss to Arizona State last weekend despite missing freshman star Josh Scott, who sat out with a concussion suffered in the game against the Sun Devils.

Stanford 82, Oregon State 72: At Corvallis, Ore., Josh Huestis had 20 points and 13 rebounds, Dwight Powell added 14 points and 11 rebounds, and the Cardinal (16-11, 7-7 Pac-12) beat the Beavers (13-14, 3-11).

San Francisco 61, Loyola Marymount 59: At Los Angeles, Cody Doolin's layup with 0.5 seconds left thwarted a second-half rally and gave San Francisco a win over Loyola Marymount.

The Dons (12-15, 5-9 West Coast Conference) led by as many as 20 in the first half, but the Lions (8-19, 1-13) came back after halftime, taking their first lead of the game, 57-56, on Alex Osborne's layup with 2:20 to play.

Saint Mary's 64, BYU 57: At Moraga, Calif., Matthew Dellavedova had 20 points, four rebounds and four assists to lead the Gaels (23-5, 12-2 WCC) past BYU (20-9, 9-5).

Portland 70, San Diego 68: At Portland, Ore., Kevin Bailey scored 18 points, including a key basket down the stretch, and Portland defeated San Diego (13-15, 6-7).

Bailey scored with 13 seconds left to give the Pilots (11-18, 4-10 WCC) a 66-62 lead. Bryce Pressley and Ryan Nicholas each made a pair of free throws in the final seconds for Portland.

No. 6 Duke 88, Virginia Tech 56: At Blacksburg, Va., Seth Curry scored 19 of his 22 points in the first half as Duke opened a 20-point lead and sent Virginia Tech to its ninth consecutive loss.

Rasheed Sulaimon added 17 points and Mason Plumlee had 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Blue Devils (23-3, 10-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) as they moved coach Mike Krzyzewski into sole possession of third place on the career list for victories at one school with 877.

Erick Green, the nation's leading scorer with a 25.3 average coming in, led the Hokies (11-15, 2-11) with 22 points.
