Ten area Realtors honoredĀ for helping homeowners
Ten North Idaho Realtors will be honored for connecting homebuyers to affordable home loans through Idaho Housing and Finance Association.
In the past two years, they and other Realtors in the area have helped 195 homebuyers purchase homes with Idaho Housing Home Loans worth more than $28 million.
Tina Hood (Gold Award), of Century 21 Beutler and Associates; Jan Leaf (Silver), of Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty; and Bill Noordam (Bronze), of Century 21 Beutler and Associates; represented the most North Idaho homebuyers who purchased homes using Idaho Housing's Home Loan program.
They will be among the 75 realtors and Mountain West Bank, IHFA's top lending partner in the area, honored at the biennial Saluting Top Area Realtors (STAR) awards luncheon Wednesday in Hayden Lake.
"By reducing borrowing costs and removing barriers such as lack of down payment, IHFA has worked with realtors to help 11,000 families in North Idaho attain affordable homes in the past 40 years," IHFA Vice President of Homeownership Lending Susan Semba said. "We're proud that we've been able to invest almost $1 billion in the area."
Certificates of appreciation will be given to Josh Adams, Keller Williams Realty; Shawn Aldrich, Century 21 Beutler and Associates; Cynthia Bilstad, Coldwell Banker Tomlinson Realty; Patricia Lozano, Windermere Real Estate; David Noordam, Century 21 Beutler and Associates; Becky Randles, Coldwell Banker Tomlinson Realty; and Chad Salsbury, Windermere Coeur d'Alene Realty, Inc.
Top loan originators include Sandra Wach, Your Equity Source, LLC; Sharon Greer, Mountain West Bank; and Mel Wach, Your Equity Source, LLC.
IHFA provides affordable mortgage financing to creditworthy Idahoans with low to moderate incomes. To date, the organization has invested $6.5 billion to help more than 80,000 families around the state.
