Lake City, Cd'A play tonight for 5A Region 1 boys title

COEUR d'ALENE - A berth to state is on the line when No. 1 seed Lake City (16-5) plays host to third-seeded Coeur d'Alene (13-8) tonight at 7 at LC in the championship game of the 5A Region 1 boys basketball tournament.

The winner advances to state Feb. 28-March 1 at the Idaho Center in Nampa.

Also tonight, fourth-seeded Post Falls (8-13) travels to No. 2 Lewiston (6-15) in a loser-out game at 7. That winner plays the Coeur d'Alene-Lake City loser on Thursday for second place, and a berth in a Saturday state play-in game vs. the fifth-place team from District 3 (the Boise area).
