LETTER: Not an accurate analysis

After reading Susan Doughty’s letter, I am wondering if I missed something in the conversation between Mr. Regan and his wife. Nowhere was it mentioned that Mr. Regan and his wife “feared” Obama and I doubt they are “quaking” or that they suffer from “negrophobia.”

Susan Doughty’s translation of the remark made is mind-boggling. How she came up with all this and then droned on and on about Mr. Regan and his wife could possibly be, on her part, the result of an over-active imagination or a condition known as cranial rectitus. She needs to acknowledge and accept the apology of Mr. Regan, get over this incident and move on and leave the psychoanalyzing to those with a degree.
