COEUR d'ALENE - The city of Coeur d'Alene will host a development forum at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, in the Coeur d'Alene Library Community Room to learn what the city can do to streamline the building process.

Members of the development community including contractors, developers, engineers, architects, planners, and consultants are invited to attend the forum.

One of the city's most important goals, it said in a press release, is to provide excellent customer service.

"The development process engages many of city customers in activities such as zoning, platting, inspections, and permit approvals," the release said." The city's goal is to make those processes more consistent and easy to understand."
