TV: Experience not a tasty dish

| February 15, 2013 8:09 PM

We recently moved from one Hayden residence to another Hayden residence. We were advised by The Dish Network that they would move us free. We made the move and to our surprise the technician from Dish could not get a signal at our new location. Since we could not get a signal from The Dish Network we decided to use another provider.

Much to our surprise, we were advised that we had to pay all the remaining payments due under our existing contract even though they could not provide the service.

I thought I would not have to pay for services they could not deliver. Dish insisted that we had to pay regardless. They advised that the only way we could cancel our contract was to be under military orders to move, or to die. After talking to several managers in their organization, we could not get any relief and we had to pay a very high cancellation fee.

I just want everyone in our community know what to expect from Dish, especially those of us who are disabled veterans.
