Mabel Ann Rund, 83

Mabel Ann Rund, of Post Falls, quietly passed away the evening of Friday, Feb. 8, 2013. For many days prior she was attended by numerous relatives from Alaska, California, Oregon and Washington.

Mabel Ann was born in Enid, Okla., on Nov. 26, 1929.

She attended and graduated from Omega High School in Omega, Okla. After high school she married the love of her life, Tom Rund, in 1949.They lived in and raised four boys in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas, moving to Post Falls in 1996 to be near her sons who had moved to Spokane.

She worked outside the home a few years, but mainly remained at home where she was a kind and loving mother and wife. She very much enjoyed reading mystery’s and watching westerns on television.

Mable Ann is survived by her husband, Tom Rund; sons, Jim, Val and Tony Rund (Spokane), and Mark Rund (Wasilla, Alaska); brother Wesley Wood of Wichita, Kan.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
