DISRUPT: Here's the way it was

Back in my day, if you disrupted a class, you were snatched by the scruff, towed into the hall where everyone in the school heard the whack of the paddle. There were very few disruptions. Can’t do that now. The kids as young as 1st grade know this and dare the teachers to touch them. Hitting, kicking, yes, spitting are just some of the things our teachers must endure while caring for the little darlings. My dad would have given me another whack when I got home if I had caused a problem at school. Today’s parents aren’t doing any justice to their kids with this lack of respect.
