Nuggets hold off Cavaliers for 9th straight victory

Danilo Gallinari scored 19 points, Kenneth Faried added 17 and the visiting Denver Nuggets won their ninth straight game with a 111-103 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday night.

The Nuggets, who have won 15 of 17, are on their longest winning streak since posting 10 straight victories from March 30-April 15, 2005.

76ers 87, Bobcats 76: Lavoy Allen had 14 points and a career-high 22 rebounds, and Jrue Holiday scored 20 points to lead Philadelphia past visiting Charlotte.

Pistons 105, Bucks 100: Charlie Villanueva hit a 3-pointer with 9.7 seconds left and former Eastern Washington standout Rodney Stuckey sealed the victory with two free throws as Detroit won at Milwaukee.

Mavericks 116, Warriors 91: Shawn Marion scored a season-high 26 points, O.J. Mayo added 19 and host Dallas handed Golden State its fourth straight loss.

Former Washington State standout Klay Thompson scored 11 points for the Warriors.

Kings 120, Jazz 109: Isaiah Thomas scored 25 points and Marcus Thornton had 24 to lead host Sacramento past Utah.
