REGAN: Society's sad commentary

This whole “racist remark” debacle is a sad example of what is going wrong in our country. Are we really going to sacrifice a decent, hard working, caring man for doing nothing more than pointing out the obvious? That makes absolutely no sense.

When did pointing out the fact that one’s skin color is black become a politically charged, emotional issue? His skin is in fact black. I don’t think saying that makes anyone a racist. The sad truth that so many people refuse to believe, is that the man is in fact very scary also. This whole situation is nothing more than a new spin on the old Emperor’s New Clothes story.
