| February 5, 2013 8:00 PM

A vandal or vandals caused approximately $1,000 in damage by spray painting mostly public property in Hayden.

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office responded Friday to three vandalism reports that occurred late Thursday or early Friday at the gazebo and men's restroom at Finucane Park, a women's restroom at City Hall park and a fence around Avondale Irrigation pump house.

The men's restroom at Finucane Park was most heavily damaged. Tags left there include "Disregard females get money," "A in the UK," "RIP Kurt" and "(bleep) Nirvana," among others.

The park gazebo was spray painted in black with "Not my lord and savior A."

A symbol that looked like a swastika was left at the women's restroom at City Hall park, while the fence at the irrigation pump house was tagged in red paint with "Live Free," according to deputy incident reports.

No suspects were identified in the reports.
