REGAN: Response an over-reaction

Heavens to Betsy, the sky is falling! Someone dared to make a joke that wasn’t approved by the thought and public relations police. Maybe there should be a grand inquisition, why not criminal charges, and certainly an immediate, voluntary resignation from his school trustee position.

Get a grip people! Hey, did you hear the one about the bald, drunken Irishman? Well, neither did I. But as a bald, “Irish American,” I’m certain I could handle it. Suck it up, people. Get over it and allow people to live their lives without cowering in fear that a few graduates of our U.S. sensitivity schools might be too squeamish.

Thank you Mr. Regan. We appreciate your work in defense of our 2nd Amendment rights. Oh, and for serving the schools, or whatever a school trustee does.
