Norman 'Bud' Glisson, 82
Went to be with the Lord on Jan. 30, 2013, in Coeur d’Alene. Bud was
born March 5, 1930, in Cherryvale, Kan., to Roy and Thelma (Miller)
Glisson. He was raised in Kansas through the 10th grade and then
moving to Kellogg.
Bud joined the military and was in the Korean War. After his service
time he returned to the Kellogg area and worked for Bunker Hill, and
later working as a painter in Arizona. Bud retired in 1970 and
returned to the Coeur d'Alene area living in Rathdrum.
Bud is survived by brothers, William, Basil, Dale and Danny Glisson;
sister Jean Mason; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in
death by his parents; brothers, Roy M., Bill “Willy” and Teddy
Glisson; and sister Josephine Scott.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at
English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls, with burial
to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls. Please sign Bud’s guest
