Big business behind meltdown of America

We the People? For the last 30 years in America it would be more accurate to say, "We the businesses of the United States of America." During this time big business has been more important in America than the people. Big business, combining with our million dollar legislators, has produced the controlling aspect that now exist in America. This 1 percent, as we will call them, is responsible for the present conditions in America.

Almost half of America lives below the poverty line, turned into second class citizens by this 1 percent. The tool used created recession. Yes, recession was created. Big business realized that labor is the foundation of the American economic system. Also, that they have a monopoly over labor.

Once discovered, recession was used as a control mechanism over the American people. With its monopoly over your labor, big business now decides who works and who doesn't. They also justify wages and hours that are not enough to bring the people out of poverty and support America.

The system in this country forces the least of us to carry America on our backs. Those who pay for America have an annual income of $250,000 and below. Even Americans only making $100s of dollars a month have money taken from their paychecks. If America doesn't work, America doesn't stand! It worked fine until big business no longer wanted to invest in American labor. It would seem that they could make more money investing somewhere else.

It wasn't helpful when our million dollar legislators went along with it. If the 1 percent desires the people to pay for America, then they must put America back to work. Or change the system and finally help America themselves, those with the most!

It started in the 1980s; suddenly recession appeared. It culminated with the Great Recession in the first decade of this century. We complained to the people we hired to take care of these things and they claimed to solve recession - all we had to do is cut. They didn't even mention the real cause of recession, loss of American labor. They claim we just don't pay America's bills.

Not pay America's bills? We know that can't be done in our personal finances but, OK, if you say so. We are supposed to be able to trust you. Your job is to bring TRUTH to the people. That is the heart of DEMOCRACY.

Year after year we trusted you and did what we were told. Yet, year after year, we went further into recession. Big business, with its monopoly over the American labor system, continually eliminated our jobs, dropped our wages, and reduced the number of hours we worked. All of these actions are what created recession.

Recession: Not having the money to pay our bills. Our leaders did nothing to stop the regression. All they did was to orate to you, smile at you, and tell you everything will be fine. It IS just fine for them and big business (1 percent). I guess it is better to be part of the 1 percent than the 99 percent (The People).

We are told there is less than 10 percent unemployment in America. That means these people living below the poverty line are actually working and their jobs will not even bring them out of poverty. That's not employment in America. That's an atrocity in America! For the middle class a job is the most important thing. It would seem the 1 percent is willing to invest in American labor as long as the wages and hours they so graciously offer keep us below the poverty line.

The 1 percent will try to convince you these are just the POOR. You know that group of people who just took advantage of America. They just wanted a handout. They didn't want to work; they are not good Americans like you, said the 1 percent to the rest of America. You do not need to help these people any more because it's too financially painful for you in America right now. Just forget them. Besides, it's not your problem. You have enough problems of your own. This is the same kind of selfish and childish justification the 1 percent uses to brainwash America.

Well, this group is not the POOR. It consists of nearly half of America. These people carried America on their backs, when they were allowed to. This American economic system worked as long as the people had the wages and hours to support them, their families and AMERICA.

Labor is the backbone of The American Working Class. This class defines itself by its labor. Labor gives us purpose. A job is the security we desire for our families. At one time, our job supplied two of the four necessities of life for human existence (food and required medical treatment). We pay for America proudly with our labor. All we ask is a little philosophical griping about paying taxes. This is because we know there are those who are more capable of paying this tax than us and those who take more from America than us so, they should give more to America. We can't let this half of America just be forgotten. We need to come up with a proper term that describes who these people really are.

The term we are most familiar with would be PEASANT. In China the term used is UNTOUCHABLE. I believe in Russia the term is PEON. So what term does America employ? It should describe the way we feel and how we are currently treated in America. We will call this group in America, W.H.O.R.E.: Widows, Helpless, Orphans, Rejects, Elderly.

The categories of Americans in this group are endless. It would seem the justification from the 1 percent is that there is no more room in America for W. H. O. R. E.s. All this group does is hurt America's economy.

End recession? What a joke! If the goal was to end recession, it would have ended in the 1980s. In the Depression, the goal was to end Depression. DEPRESSION ENDED! That is when the people were still the first priority in America, when our leaders were not owned by big business.

The obvious goal of recession is to control the people. This had to be allowed by our leaders. With the 1 percent's monopoly on American labor, they can now do whatever they desire. The 1 percent has cracked the foundation of the American economic system. It has stabbed at the heart of the American people and broken the backbone of the American working class. Daniel Webster (1781-1852) warned us of the possibility of this time in American history.

PARAPHRASED:

The destruction of America, if it comes at all, will come from within. It will come from the inattentiveness of the people and their exaggerated trust in their public servants. By our failure to scrutinize their conduct, we will be made into fools. In so doing, we will become the instruments of our own destruction.
