Koresh Dance Company to make appearance

| April 12, 2013 9:00 PM

The Koresh Dance Company's high-energy and emotional performances never fail to leave audiences "bedazzled," writes Marilyn Jackson of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The company will be in North Idaho next week for an April 20 performance at the Kroc Center in Coeur d'Alene, 1756 W. Golf Club Road.

Show time is 7 p.m.

Israeli-born choreographer and artistic director Ronen (Roni) Koresh founded the Philadelphia-based company in 1991, and it has received critical acclaim in performances throughout the U.S. and internationally.

The JACC (Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center) in Post Falls received a $10,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to support the Koresh performance at the Kroc Center.

In addition to performing, the dance company is known for its outreach efforts while touring. Prior to their performance in Coeur d'Alene, they will be working with students at Expressions School of Dance in Post Falls.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for students.
