SCHOOLS: Lessons on the board

| April 10, 2013 9:00 PM

Two interesting articles about our troubled school board appeared in The Press on March 30. The first article was entitled, “Trustees won’t respond to complaint.” Of course they won’t. However that may be, the good work of Ashlie Unruh and Nicole Olson and the other parents will not go unnoticed.

The second article appeared as a “My Turn” column by Adam Graves, entitled “School Board Needs Change.” I agree wholeheartedly!

On March 15 five grade school kids, Chris Morrison, Zeke Carter, Jared Floyd, Riley Loughman and Benjamin Dahl, wrote a great letter to the editor, “CURSIVE: It’s the write stuff.” That was a great letter kids! Good for you to speak up.

Now, I wonder, have you kids thought about running for the school board?
