VOTE: You'll elect a Caesar

The presidential Election Day is almost here. Looking at both candidates, I was having a hard judgment call. With Mitt Romney, I disagree with a lot of his issues and the fact that he is of the Mormon religion; of which he has a right to choose. Looking to President Obama, I am not sure if he has a religion. In our great country it is his right to not have one. I strongly oppose many of his issues, especially his vast spending of our tax dollars.

Thinking about whom to vote for, or not to vote at all? If, I did not vote, that would be an automatic vote for President Obama. I then realized that we as United States citizens are given that right. In order to save our rights, we should feel obligated to vote.

Lying in bed pondering these things, Scripture came to mind. Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and unto God the things that are God’s. (Matthew 22:21) This let’s us know that we are all going to have a Caesar in our lives. So, for your Caesar, whom will you choose?
