Cd'A: Priorities don't line up

| September 21, 2012 9:15 PM

My name is Joshua Lee Jensen and today I am releasing my persona to the city of Coeur d’Alene. You can call me a lot of things but I’d like to be known as the “Digital Patriot.” As I look around this vibrant city, I see quite a lot of problems. The main problem is the Bureaucracy can’t communicate. Every bureau has its own system and they don’t seem to talk to each other very well. Of course, this is from a citizen’s perspective. If the left hand can’t talk to the right, how in the hell are we going to play a game of ball.

I also see a major issue with priorities in this town. A $16 million park for downtown growth seems a bit excessive. Grass is grass. A cool park couldn’t of been designed for let’s say a fourth of that? I see liberal spending hard at work in this town and it will lead to chaos.

I propose cutting spending by 10 percent for the next four years and put those funds into a coffer. I then propose cutting the budget for the park we didn’t vote on by 50 percent. The city could take that $8 million and invest it into the student population. It is time for COMMON SENSE and it is time for it NOW.

I have no time to Hope, I have no time for Change. WE NEED REFORM.
