PREP CROSS COUNTRY: Levora, Finney, Little lead locals at Coaster Cross

Sandpoint's Sam Levora was the top local finisher in the annual Silverwood Coaster Cross on Saturday at Silverwood Theme Park, coming in fourth in 15 minutes and 48.7 seconds.
Lake City's Jake Finney finished fifth in 15:57.6, followed by teammate Kyler Little in sixth in 15:58 as the Timberwolf boys finished fourth.
Timberlake finished 13th behind a 27th place finish by Ryan Richardson in 16:54.4.
Andrew Rafla from Timberline of Boise won the boys race in 15:35.6.
Rachel Ward was the top local girls finisher in 12th in the girls race for Timberlake, which finished 12th.
Emily Coleman of Centennial won the girls race.

SPOKANE - Coeur d'Alene sophomore Josie Brown finished sixth in 18 minutes, 57 seconds to lead the Viking girls to a third-place finish in the Tracy Walters Invitational at Audubon Park.
Punky Duran was 12th in 19:26, Kara Story 17th in 19:55, Clare Dumont 20:28, Noelle Ball 20:56, Jaycee Rade 21:04 for Coeur d'Alene, which competes in the Coeur d'Alene/Lake City Invitational on Saturday at Hayden Canyon.
Katie Knight of North Central won the girls race in 17:47.
Riley Estes was the top boys finisher for the Viking boys in 37th with a time 16:42, immediately by Michael Dunton in 38th in 16:42, Kenny Colbert in 17:00, Jose Winton in 17:38, Jonathan Deak in 18:09, Tristan Scoffield 18:27, Kendrick Nagel 18:52, Adam Crandall 19:49 and Carson Hill 20:20 for the Vikings, which finished seventh.
Kai Wilmot of North Central won the boys race in 14:44.

at Highlander
SPOKANE - Dylan Schilling finished 12th for the Post Falls Trojans in 14 minutes and 53.8 seconds in the 27-team Highlander Invitational at Shadle Park High.
Chris Kirkeby finished 47th in 16:50.44 and Ben Gibson 68th 17:44.68 for Post Falls, which competes at the Coeur d'Alene/Lake City Invitational next Saturday at Hayden Canyon.
