Overpass work to delay traffic

POST FALLS - Motorists can expect delays and detours at the Interstate 90 Beck Road Interchange project near Cabela's on Sunday night and Monday night.

The work will be done from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. to lessen the impact to motorists. Intermittent lane closures will occur through Nov. 1.

When necessary, traffic will be detoured onto Seltice Way. Eastbound traffic will be detoured at the Stateline interchange and westbound traffic at the Pleasantview interchange. Electronic message signs will warn motorists about the detour.

The speed limit on I-90 has been temporarily reduced to 55 mph.

Reducing and maintaining a consistent speed limit will help provide a safer work zone for highway users and workers alike.

The reduced speed will be in place until the project is completed later this year.
