PROPS: They're unwanted problems
I am a 75-year-old man and have been living life and enjoying. A lot has to do with one type of “those nasty unions.” Let me explain.
First of all we are THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Remember the Revolutionary War? WE banded together to form this nation.
Remember World Wars I and II? We, along with our friendly nations, banded together to fight the nations wanting to control the world. Remember Vietnam? Same thing.
Back many years ago, the coal owners resented paying the miners decent wages to live on. Thus started the unions. I also have worked in the lumber industry and at one time during my employment there the union and workers agreed to take a drastic pay cut to help the company stay vital and alive in the industry.
Now our Mr. Luna wants to do away with teachers and issue laptops. How many of the foreseeable laptops will be stolen from the students? Pretty popular item to hock.
I also do not think Mr. Luna would have been elected when he did if he touted his plan for the future at that time. With all the problems in budgeting, I just do not think this plan will work at this time in history.
Schools are having problems already. This one does not need to be added to the problems.
