Charles W. Thomas, 61, of Post Falls, died Oct. 9, 2012, surrounded by family. He was born May 14, 1951, in Detroit, Mich., the son of late Lorene Kelly and Arthur Thomas.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lea and Drew Whitis of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Masha Thomas of New York, N.Y.; and grandchildren, Ethan, Hanna and Katie.
