SCHOOL: Thanks to the very best

| October 26, 2012 6:54 PM

This letter is for Mrs. Marshall, Mrs. Hargrave, Ms. Babb, Ms. Ackerman, Mrs. Palmer, Ms. Woods, Miss Hilary, Michele, Lisa, Mr. Cox, Mr. Palmer, Mrs. Bays, Mrs. Gorman, Mrs. Foreman, Mrs. Powell, Ms. Semko, Mrs. Buzolich, Mrs. Davis, Mr. Hunt, Jane, Tammy, the bus drivers, the cafeteria staff, the custodians, the art teachers, the Title I Aides, the playground duties, and anyone else that has served my children at Bryan or Sorensen Elementary in the last four years: Thank You. You have all vastly enriched the lives of my children. You have worked tirelessly to improve their opportunities for success, and they have loved you.

I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to continue to work so hard and with so much enthusiasm in the face of such negativity from certain community members. Please know that as a parent in this school district, I do see how important you are. I do value your involvement with my kids. I can never thank you enough for what you do. I hope that our community will show their support for our incredibly gifted educators, staff and administrators in the years to come so that you know how appreciated you are. I will be paying attention to my school board, and voting for school board members that believe in education and in educators. I don’t think I’m alone.
