North Idaho Fair Foundation Cowboy Ball April 5

The North Idaho Fair Foundation Cowboy Ball is scheduled for April 5, 2013, at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.

There will be music, food and entertainment.

Funds will be allocated to capital improvements at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.

Last year, more than $36,000 was raised at the event which enabled installation of heat in the Jacklin building, allowing for year-round use, construction of a new Foundation Park at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds, and five $1,000 scholarships to area youth for the 2012-13 school year.

Organizers said this year's show sold out and expected next year's to do just as well.

It will include live music by Kelly Hughes, line dance lessons, live and silent auctions, raffles and a full country dinner buffet.

Sponsorships with premiere reserved seating will be available starting Oct. 15 and are expected to sell out quickly.

Tickets will go on sale through the Kootenai County Fairgrounds on Jan. 15.
