Chiefs' win streak snapped

PRINCE GEORGE, British Columbia - Brett Zarowny had 33 saves for the Prince George Cougars in a 4-2 win over the Spokane Chiefs in Western Hockey League play on Wednesday in front of 1,371 at the CN Centre.

The loss snaps a three-game win streak by Spokane and ends a six-game skid by Prince George.

Mike Aviani scored his seventh goal of the season midway through the first period for Spokane, which didn't score again until a Brenden Kichton power-play goal with 23 seconds remaining in the game.

Eric Williams had 31 saves for Spokane (9-4-0-0, 18 points), which travels to Everett on Friday.
